Fractal Organizations
Natural phenomena occur in geometric patterns that evolve over time. Fractal human organizations are “biomimetic” 21st Century models for cooperative work environments fuelled by shared vision and goals. Inspired by Nature and what we’ve learned from leading-edge science, Fractal Organizations allow a continual flow of information from the edges of the organization, where members interact with the environment of production, distribution, and customers or clients, to the center of the organization, where leaders gather the collective intelligence and allocate resources in real time back to the edges, according to current information. This produces an even flow of information and resources, enabling organizations to adapt to changing conditions and evolve and expand naturally.
